Older FreeHand InstallersThe purpose of offering these installers on my site is to help replace lost or corrupted original floppy or CD ROM disks. By downloading these installers, it assumes that you already have a registered serial number. If you've misplaced it, then contact Macromedia with your orginal registration information. They should still have that on file:
INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK! I will not offer any "official" support on the these products. They comes as is, with no warranty or guarantee that it will even work on most modern computers or OS's. Macromedia as well does not fully support these older versions of FreeHand, so don't expect them to help with any serious problems. I will help out with problems as much as I can, but first try the Macromedia TechNotes or try the Troubleshooting section of this site. Each Installer set is broken up into separate disk images so you don' t have to download every single disk image if you only need to replace one.

| Mac Installers First you need to get a copy of Apple's Disk Copy utility for mounting the image files present in these archives. Mount the images and then run the installer. You can also use Disk Copy to recreate the disks on to a floppy, though it's not necessary if you store these intact images on removable media.
Windows Installers When installing these, unzip them and follow the special instructions for each version. If you have any problems getting these to install, please let me know.
I haven't been able to track down all of the Windows installers yet. If you have some original floppies of these and can create Zip files of them please e-mail them to me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. |
