allows the import and editing of Postscript (.ps) and Encapsulated
Postscript (.eps) files from programs such as PageMaker, QuarkXpress,
CorelDraw, etc. I'd actually like to try this one out. Sounds interesting.

sold off all of it's software, including Vector Effects. As of now,

Perhaps you've seen this problem, you want to copy a value from a
palette, but it wont copy because you've copied another FH object
into the clipboard. This Xtra clears the clipboard so you can copy
values from palettes.

This Xtra has three functions:

Pastes what's
in the clipboard in the exact location it was copied from.

The second option
is like the first only it asks for an offset value for the objects
being pasted.

The third option
asks you for a file to place. Then this file is placed in the
current document and all elements are placed on the pasteboard
with the same location as in their source. This is a simple way
to copy 2 documents together.

These two Xtras have been written for Macromedia FreeHand 8, and versions
are available for both 32-bit Windows (Win95/98 and WinNT4) and Macintosh
with PowerMac processor. Unfortunately, they are not available for
68K Macintosh at this time.

Close
- Close was written to address a situation that is common in cartography,
where paths which are intended to be closed, come into FreeHand
(usually via DXF) as unclosed paths. (More info in ReadMe file)

- Smooth was written to address another situation that is common
when working from imported GIS data that usually come into FreeHand
through a process which does not support continuous curvature

into a step and repeat machine. It can step EPS, DCS, AI EPS, FH EPS,
TIF, GIF, JPG, and PSD files.

epsConverter™

This utility is great for converting
EPS files that are orphaned from the original file that they were
created from. It turns most non-editable EPS files into workable art.

DXF
to Illustrator v2.2
Works with any version (Mac)
Even though this utility says "Illustrator",
we all know that FreeHand can open Illustrator files. Works great
for converting otherwise stubborn DXF files.
